Day 1 - Saturday - Oristano
Arrival and lunch on your own. In the afternoon visit the remains of Tharros located in the preserved area of Sinis. Proceed to the archaeological Museum in Cabras where among other nuragic objects are the renowned statues called Giants of Monte prama. Dinner and overnight in hotel in Oristano.
Day 2 - Sunday - Oristano
After breakfast walking to town to be present at the introduction of The Sartiglia Event and at Eleonora of Arborea's parade that shows beautiful medieval dresses. Lunch on your own and reserved seat on the bleachers to assist to Sa Sartiglia riding competition. In the afternoon move on to the street where some bold riders will be the most important actors of some fearless riding performances. Dinner and overnight in hotel in Oristano.
Day 3 - Monday - Paulilatino, Nuraghe Losa, Santu Lussurgiu
Departure after breakfast to Paulilatino to visit the local Museum with an interesting exhibition of ritual breads. Carry on to visit the imposing nuraghe Losa which dates back to Bronze age an lunch in a local restaurant. In the afternoon proceed to Santu Lussurgiu to see the taditional riding event "su lunisi de sa pudda". Dinner and overnight in hotel.
Day 4 - Tuesday - Shrove Tuesday in Mamoiada
Departure after breakfast to Mamoiada to visit the Museum of the Mediterranean masks, lunch on your own and by 12.00 o'clock beginning of the dressing of Mamuthones and Issohadores that will preceed the parade across the village. Excellent red wine, homemade biscuits, music and local traditions will warm up the atmosphere throughout the afternoon. Dinner and overnight in the hotel in Fonni.
Day 5 - Wednesday - Ash Wednesday in Ovodda for a special Carnival
After breakfast departure to visit a nugat workshop in Tonara, proceed to Teti for lunch and in the afternoon carry on to Ovodda to assist to its carnival. Here the inhabitants create Don Conte, a puppet made with old rags and carry it around the streets. Neither rules, nor public arrangements are set for this event, and spontaneous desire of freedom from every duty is the common mood. At dusk the puppet in thrown in a bonfire lit in town in a scarp. Traditional dance in the main square, good red wine and burnt cork used to blacken everybody's face are the most distinctive features .

Day 6 - Thursday - Nuoro, Olbia, Alghero or Cagliari
According to your scheduled flight, visit to the Museum of Costumes in Nuoro and proceed to Olbia or Cagliari or Alghero, on time for your departure.
